What We Are
We’re a nonprofit in Solano County that, for almost 30 years, has been dedicated to intervening and preventing youth involvement in the Juvenile Justice System. We aim to guide youth toward self-reflection, personal growth, and restoration.
We also act as a resource for parents providing tools to equip, support, empower, and stop the cycle of recidivism.
Who We Are
André And Annette Davis, are the founders of WE ARE NEVER ALONE INTERVENTION/PREVENTION, Outreach, and Ministry. This is our WHY. Just a brief testimony.
We met in high school, and at the age of 16, were parents to a beautiful baby boy, Andre W. Davis Jr. We eventually got married at 18. We were good parents, worked hard, and provided all that was needed for our son. But we quickly found out that "good was not GOD enough!" When little Andre got to his teenage years, all hell broke loose; he started running away and hanging around the wrong people which eventually lead him to a 7-year prison term. That 7 years eventually turned into 13 years - going back 8 times; when When he finally got out, he was stuck on drugs for 6 years – 5 minutes from home! This created a 25 year struggle for us that taught us to let go and let GOD.
This was when GOD gave us the name “WE ARE NEVER ALONE” because during that time, this is how we felt – ALONE! He also called us to “go to the juvenile hall RIGHT NOW” to reach young people - AND their parents with the Word of God. They were going through the same struggles we were. We went through 25 years of struggles with our son, but GOD was so GOD and always right there!
Fast forward 29 years. Our son is 5 years drug-free. He’s remarried, lives in Texas on a ranch and owns his own swimming pool business, taking care of his family!
We Are Never Alone is about building and putting back relationships, not Religion! It’s not really a program, but an outreach ministry! We are hurt people helping other hurt people heal from their hurts! Help us help you as we help each other to know WE ARE NOT ALONE.
GOD’s Word says, HE will never leave us or forsaken us!
Hebrews 13:5.
Much Love, Dre’4CHRIST
